The Metro Vancouver region's budding agricultural technology ("agritech") sector is well-positioned for growth, but targeted actions are needed to fully realize its potential. Join Invest Vancouver at local agritech unicorn Semios' new Mount Pleasant HQ for conversation about the Metro Vancouver region's agritech sector.

Featuring agritech champions from across the region, our "Agritech Today, Building for Tomorrow" event will explore the strengths in agritech in the Metro Vancouver region, the opportunities emerging in the region, and what actions are needed to support and advance the continued growth of the sector.

Invest Vancouver's report, Agritech Today, Building for Tomorrow: Findings and Actions to Strengthen the Sector in the Metro Vancouver Region, identifies advantages within the region's agritech sector that support its continued growth and potential global impact through exporting products and solutions. Creating an environment where we can build on these strengths and scale-up successfully will benefit the region by attracting investment and growing early-stage firms into profitable companies that export globally and reinvest within the region.
