The ecosystem includes one of the largest AI hubs in the country, top university educated talent, a thriving tech community, globally significant centres for cybersecurity research and threat intelligence, leading firms in identity verification and fraud prevention, and deep capabilities in network, cloud and endpoint security, governance, risk and compliance, and security operations and threat response.
With businesses and governments worldwide experiencing trillions of daily attacks, cybersecurity is no longer an IT cost centre but a critical part of organizational resiliency. Canadian government support for cybersecurity adoption has never been higher, and with the government making generational investments in Canada’s Defence Industrial Strategy, cybersecurity is a major beneficiary of its enabling Canadian Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) policy.
